About Vivienne Law of Mov'In Estate Agents
Vivienne Law is one half of Mov’In Property. She brings to the company a wealth of experience in management and marketing, and has also successfully run her own international consultancy business. Vivienne tells us about herself and her hopes for Mov’In Property.
“We don't want to be 'oh not another Cheshire estate agent', we do not want to be the biggest, simply the best. We’ve set very high standards and we know they can be maintained. We offer good, honest advice based on personal experiences; we want to go the extra mile for our clients whether buyers or sellers.
My interest in property started with my first job after university in the marketing department of a commercial property company in London. This was where I met my husband-to-be, a commercial valuation surveyor. My career progressed at a top marketing and market research company before heading to work for a large corporation and then ultimately setting up my own consultancy business here in Cheshire.
It was my search for a house in Macclesfield and Rainow that sowed the seeds of Mov’In Property as I saw a gap in the estate agent market for a very personal service. Looking for a new home was stressful and a chore, particularly when, at that time, estate agents were not using the internet to the extent they are today. I then started monitoring the housing market and advising friends on buy-to-let properties and local prices. This also fuelled my desire to progress my career in a different direction.
And that career direction is very carefully mapped out. We want to be known for our ability to sell homes and on our customer service. People cherish their homes; some have lived in them a long time and therefore have emotional ties to moving, so we want to take the stress out of selling and moving home. We help clients every step of the way.”
